ABSENTEE/EARLY VOTING IN PERSON VOTING PUBLIC NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that advanced voting shall take place for the May 19, 2026 General Primary/Nonpartisan Election for Oglethorpe County registered voters at the Board of Elections and Registration office, 41 Fairground Road, Lexington, GA 30648 on the following days and times.
MONDAY, APRIL 27 – FRIDAY, MAY 1, 2026:
8:00 AM – 5:000 PM
SATURDAY, MAY 2, 2026: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM MONDAY, MAY 4 - FRIDAY, MAY 8, 2026:
8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
SATURDAY, MAY 9, 2026: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM MONDAY, MAY 11 – FRIDAY,MAY 15 2026:
8:00 AM -5:00 PM
All early voting will end on May 15th at 5:00 p.m.
A Drop Box will be available for absentee ballots at the Board of Elections Office (located inside) ONLY during all early voting hours as per SB 202, and will close on May 15th at 5PM.
Ballots may be dropped off until 7PM on May 19, 2026 to the election staff located at 41 Fairground Road, Lexington,GA absentee ballots will not be received at the polling location on Election Day. Absentee Ballot Applications may be submitted for the May 19, 2026 Election until Friday, May 8, 2026.
