Board of Elections strives to be of service to every citizen by being fair, nondiscriminatory, and informed on all election laws and legislative changes that will affect their duties and responsibilities to the public. Oglethorpe County Board of Elections manages voter registration and conducts all elections held in the county.

REDISTRICTING CARDS RECEIVED

The Board of Elections Office has mailed out 11,000 new cards due to redistricting. This card is NOT a change of address form.  It is a NEW PRECINCT CARD with your new voting districts.  Only return the form if your address has changed.

Pursuant to OCGA 21-2-386(a)(3), this is to notify the voters of Oglethorpe County that the Oglethorpe County Board of Elections and Registration will begin the tabulation of absentee ballots cast in the May 24, 2022, General Primary/Nonpartisan/Special Election at 5:00 pm on May 24, 2022, at 41 Fairground Road, Lexington, GA.

each day from 8 am until 5 pm 

at the Board of Elections Office,

 LAST DAY TO REGISTER TO VOTE FOR THE MAY 24, 2022 PRIMARY IS MONDAY, APRIL 25, 2022.

 

ABSENTEE BALLOTS WILL BEGIN TO BE MAILED OUT ON APRIL 25, 2022.  THE LAST DATE ABSENTEE BALLOT APPLICATIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED IS MAY 13, 2002.

Logic and Accuracy Testing Notice

Notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy testing and preparation of voting equipment to be used in the May 24, 2022, General Primary will begin at 9 a.m. on April 25, 2022.  Testing will continue from day to day until complete and members of the public are entitled to be present during testing.  Said testing and preparation will be conducted at the Oglethorpe County Board of Elections Office, 41 Fairground Road, Lexington, GA.
