Mission

Board of Elections strives to be of service to every citizen by being fair, nondiscriminatory, and informed on all election laws and legislative changes that will affect their duties and responsibilities to the public. Oglethorpe County Board of Elections manages voter registration and conducts all elections held in the county.

PUBLIC NOTICE

The Board of Elections and Registrations Office will be CLOSED Friday, August 5, 2022

from 8 am - 3 pm.  Staff will be attending Region Training in Jackson County.

August 22, 2022 is the first day to apply for an absentee ballot for the November 8, 2022 General Election.

October 11, 2022 is the deadline to register to vote in the November 8, 2022 Election

October 22, 2022 - Saturday Voting (8-5)

All Early Voting will take place at the Board of Elections Office, 41 Fairground Road, Lexington, GA

Last day to submit an absentee ballot application  for the November 8, 2022 General Election

November 8, 2022 - General Election Voting

Polling precincts open from 7 am - 7 pm

REDISTRICTING CARDS RECEIVED

The Board of Elections Office has mailed out 11,000 new cards due to redistricting. This card is NOT a change of address form.  It is a NEW PRECINCT CARD with your new voting districts.  Only return the form if your address has changed.
