Logic & Accuracy Testing Public Notice
Notice is hereby given that the logic and accuracy testing and preparation of voting equipment to be used in the June 17, 2025 Special Election (Public Service Commissioner) for Oglethorpe County will begin as early as May 12th at 9:00 am. Testing will continue from day to day from 9AM-5PM until complete and members of the public representatives of the parties and bodies, and news media are entitled to be present during testing, but shall not interfere in any way with such testing. Said testing and preparation will be conducted at the Board of Elections and Registration Office located at
41 Fairground Road, Lexington, GA.

​​The Board of Elections & Registration is accepting applications for the June 17, 2025 Special Primary for Public Service Commission election. The deadline to accept applications is June 6, 2025. Since this is a special primary, voters who are elderly and disabled who are normally entitled to make one absentee application to have a ballot mailed to them. However, since this is a special election these voters will have to request an application for each election in the 2025 cycle. Applications are available on the county election website or by calling the elections office at 706-743-8954. Advance voting for the special primary will begin on Tuesday, May 27, 2025 and end on Friday, June 13, 2025 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. in the Board of Elections office at 41 Fairground Road in Lexington.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
