A Poll Worker, one of the many mechanisms necessary for a successful election, is a citizen hired or volunteering to work the polls on Election Day abiding by rules and regulations set forth governing elections.
Oglethorpe County Senior Center greatly appreciates anyone who like to volunteer at the Senior Center. Volunteer activities include home delivery of meals, activity helper, serving food, and assisting participants during shopping trips. A background check on volunteers paid by the Senior Center will be administered before volunteering. Additionally, hours are available for community service depending on the violation and for SNAP requirements, please contact the center.
