A Poll Worker, one of the many mechanisms necessary for a successful election, is a citizen hired or volunteering to work the polls on Election Day abiding by rules and regulations set forth governing elections.
Dirt roads are not scraped on a specific schedule or rotation. The decision is dependent on the following factors: amount of traffic, soil types, weather, the amount of base on the road, hauling operations (logging). All of these factors contribute to the rate at which a road deteriorates. Therefore, we attempt to do maintenance on these roads as needed. Unfortunately, due to the cold, wet conditions, with rare exceptions, road scraping is not executed from November to mid-March or April. Furthermore, we typically try to commit 1 full time operator and two part-time operators to the roads, when the conditions permit. When possible, the roads are re-graded to remove the silt from the ditch and allow for proper drainage.
