Campaign Finance Reporting
A Poll Worker, one of the many mechanisms necessary for a successful election, is a citizen hired or volunteering to work the polls on Election Day abiding by rules and regulations set forth governing elections.
Acceptable Forms of Payment
Oglethorpe County Tax Commissioner accepts payment in the form of cash, debit/credit card (Master Card, Visa, & Discover), or checks (Personal Check, Money Order, Cashier's Check).

Credit & Debit Card Convenience Fee
Up to $91 = $2.50 Convenience Fee
Above $91 = 2.75% Convenience Fee

Returned Check Policy
A fee of $30 will be charged on top of the total amount for the returned check. All future transactions with any Oglethorpe County Government entity must be paid in the form of Money Order, Cashier's Check, or Cash.
Payment Plans
Oglethorpe County Tax Commissioner is willing to work with individuals on creating a payment plan for their property tax bill. However, in compliance with state law, the tax commissioner office isn't able to create a payment plan for motor vehicles.
