Campaign Finance Reporting
A Poll Worker, one of the many mechanisms necessary for a successful election, is a citizen hired or volunteering to work the polls on Election Day abiding by rules and regulations set forth governing elections.
The Magistrate Court Cannot Provide Legal Advice.
Each member of the board of assessors is appointed by the Oglethorpe County Board of Commissioners for a six-year term with each assessors term staggered over the others. The Chair and Vice Chair positions are then elected by the assessors themselves.

The Board of Tax Assessors is responsible for ensuring that all taxable property within the county is filed and assessed for taxes at its fair market value; and that taxpayers shall pay only their proportionate share of taxes.
